Let's care for
each other . . .
Masikhathalelaneni NPC is a non-profit
organisation focusing on integrated
disaster and was founded on August 10,
2017 by Freddie van Rooyen from
Jeffrey's Bay in the Eastern Cape.
Where disaster happen like
shack and house fires or natural
disasters, we try to assist those
affected by giving clothes, bedding,
food, and providing the basic needs that
one need to start over as a family. We
are working with stakeholders like your
municipalities and other organisations.
We are an
organisation dedicated to effectively
and efficiently addressing the immediate
and long-term needs of communities
impacted by disasters and focus on all
aspects of recovery to strengthen
disaster-affected communities, from
preparedness and planning to rebuilding
and addressing imbalances that
exacerbate vulnerabilities.
Our partners
and donors work together with us knowing
that our shared efforts help communities
recover stronger after disasters.
With both the
frequency and intensity of natural
disasters on the rise, there’s an urgent
need for a more thoughtful approach to
the way we respond and help impacted
communities recover.
When a
natural disaster strikes, we arrive
early and stay late to address the
immediate and long-term needs of
affected communities. Masikhathalelaneni
NPC work alongside the local residents
and deploy our unique volunteer model to
enable direct impact — helping families
and communities to recover.
The
communities we serve are not only
vulnerable in terms of natural
disasters, but also financially. By
building in a disaster resilient way, we
better prepare them for future events.
Thanks to
passionate volunteers, donors and
partners, we’ve provided 5 years of
disaster relief support to many people
and we have active programs in the Kouga
and Koukamma regions.
